Top Heavy is a tribute to classic rock. The band comprises a tight-knit group of musicians who despite their relatively young age have already chalked up an impressive track record of experience as members of other bands, touring and releasing albums throughout the UK, Europe, and beyond.
Formed in the Summer of 2009 Top Heavy began with one aim; to play the classic rock songs they'd all grown up on just for the sheer hell of it. Raising the roof at every venue they play, the Top Heavy live show is a non-stop party, on stage and off, with a soundtrack of good time classic rock anthems and crowd pleasing favourites from AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper and many more.
Top Heavy have fast become one of the most popular classic rock cover bands around, regularly pulling large crowds wherever they play - clubs and pubs, weddings, parties, corporate events, charity shows and biker rallies, hammering out classic rock tunes with high volume and high energy.
Top Heavy also perform a full AC/DC tribute show complete with costumes and stage props. With a setlist ranging from the band's first album High Voltage right upto 2008's Black Ice, The JA/CK capture the sight, the sound and the pure rock n' roll of an AC/DC show.
